How we check information

Official sources take priority for formal rules. Service providers explain their own products. Useful personal experiences can raise questions, but do not establish a rule. Unsupported details stay unpublished.

Understand the dates

Source publication or update dates belong to the original publisher. “Last checked by Happier China” records when we reviewed the listed material. It does not mean every app was tested or every service was visited. We do not invent source dates that a publisher has not supplied.

Updates and corrections

Material changes trigger updates. If a detail no longer matches your experience, send a correction with a reliable source where possible. We check reported changes before revising a rule.
